Stables rules
"Podlachia Horse Trails"
effective as of 21 March 2023
-
Before entering the premises of the equestrian centre, all visitors are required to read and comply with these rules. The regulations apply to all persons present on the property.
-
Participants in riding activities and accompanying persons must be aware of the risks associated with contact with a large, sensitive, and sometimes unpredictable animal such as a horse. This contact may result in injury, bodily harm, or health issues.
Our horses are friendly and well-mannered; however, their reactions to unusual or unexpected situations can never be fully predicted. -
The owner of the equestrian centre shall not be held responsible for accidents resulting from failure to comply with these regulations, for incidents caused by participants themselves, or for personal belongings left unattended or on the premises.
-
While on the premises and near animals, do not run, shout, or make sudden movements.
Never approach a horse from behind without warning. -
By deciding to participate in horse riding activities, you confirm that you are aware of your physical condition and health limitations and that you have no medical contraindications to horse riding.
In case of any doubts, please consult a doctor and inform the instructor about any limitations. -
During riding activities, appropriate protective clothing is required in accordance with safety standards, including:
-
ankle-high riding boots,
-
flexible trousers that do not restrict movement,
-
a certified riding helmet with a three-point fastening system.
-
Each client bringing accompanying persons is responsible for their behaviour while on the premises.
-
Smoking is permitted only in designated areas.
-
Horse riding is strictly prohibited for persons under the influence of alcohol or any intoxicating substances.
-
Clients are obliged to take proper care of all equipment entrusted to them, which remains the property of the equestrian centre.
-
Clients must follow all instructions given by the instructor or other authorised staff members working at the stable.
-
If the instructor or authorised personnel determine that a client’s behaviour poses a risk to people or animals, they may require the client to dismount or leave the premises.
-
Minors are required to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian or must provide written parental consent to participate in riding activities, as horse riding is a sport involving inherent risks.
-
By participating in activities at the centre, clients consent to being photographed or filmed during lessons and rides and agree to the use of their image for training and promotional purposes.
The centre may store and share such recordings, provided that the image is not used in a manner that portrays the individual in a negative or misleading way. -
Late arrivals for rides or excursions will result in the loss of the scheduled riding time.
In the case of horse treks, significant lateness may result in the inability to participate. -
Cancellations must be made no later than the day before the scheduled ride by 8:00 p.m.
For rides that are not cancelled or are cancelled on the day of the scheduled activity, a fee of 30% of the ride price will be charged to cover costs incurred by the stable. -
Riding activities take place regardless of weather conditions.
-
The owner’s dogs roam freely on the premises.
If you have any concerns, please inform the instructor, who will assist you in entering the property safely. -
Guests may bring their own animals onto the premises; however, noisy animals should preferably remain at home, and excitable animals must be kept on a leash at all times.
